In the winter of 2023 Amanda met Jessie when she walked into her NICU room at the Children’s Hospital Minneapolis. She met Abel for the first time, and brought a basket of goodies, and that is how their friendship was started and eventually the Born Abel foundation was formed.
Only 8 short months later, several Born Abel books were published, and the two friends walked into other NICU rooms at local hospitals with gift baskets. In sharing stories and experiences with other moms the idea of “preemie/nicu” books sparked their interest and the Born Mighty Series was established!
The ladies are passionate about helping NICU families through encouragement and a little love with Born Mighty NICU program.
